Graduated in Composition and Electronic Music with the highest grades and followed master classes in composition at the National Music Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome and in Electronic Music at the Accademia Chigiana of Siena. He also graduated in Brass Band Orchestration, Choir Music and Choir Conducting. Has been awarded many prestigious awards in competitions for composition and electronic music amongst which the XX concorso internazionale di Musica Elettronica Luigi Russolo (First Prize). He also received an award for his work in research and production of contemporary and electronic music from the INMC (International New Music Consortium) with headquarters at the New York University. He was professor with Giorgio Nottoli of the Summer Master Classes in Electronic Music at the Accademia Chigiana of Siena in 1996. He taught Acoustic Physics, Digital and Analogic electronics and Psychoacoustisc from 1994 to 2000 at the University of Music in Rome. He is professor of Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue and of Composition at the Conservatory of Bari. He is also professor of Composition at the “Thomas Louis Da Victoria” school of Rome. He is professor of Electronic Music at the tri-annual master class course at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese. He is artistic director of the International Computer Music Competition “Pierre Schaeffer” held at the Accademia Pescarese. He is the author of the publication “Tecniche di sintesi del suono; manuale di orchestrazione elettronica” and co-author on the publication “Istituzioni di fisica acustica, con elementi di psicoacustica” published by the Research Press of Bari.
