Tatma is a play on word that is formed by the last name of Francesco Tattara and Fulvio Maras. Our musical objective in this project is simple: to recreate the atmosphere of jazz in the 1950s and ‘60s, and through its sound and compositions to adapt to a modern and soft fusion of tunes, similar to “lounge” rather than “club” music. This is something moving, rhythmic and pleasing to the ear, that remains strongly grounded in the sampled interventations and electronic sounds. The project was started by Fulvio Maras, percussionist and expert of computer music, and joined by guitarist Francesco Tattara. The tracks are original and instrumental compositions.
