Domenico Modugno is considered the best artist in the history of Italian Pop music and even the creator of Italian Pop sound. Modugno was not only an excellent singer, but also a songwriter, an actor, a comedian, a writer and a showman. With his song “Volare (Nel blu dipinto di blu) he became worldwide famous. Radioshow is a compilation of Domenico Modugno by the label Via Asiago 10. It was published for the first time and released in the Italian market in 2006. Most of the songs were recorded by “Radio RAI” (the Italian national broadcaster) in the famous Sala A in Via Asiago, 10 in Rome, from 1958 to 1982. Beside including some of the most successful songs by Modugno, from “Volare” to “Vecchio Frack”, “La lontananza”… and many others, in the cd there are interviews, special contents, theatrical performances e tv recordings. About 10.000 copies have been sold in the Italian market alone and the album is distributed in the main Italian music stores.
